Who are we?

An Independent Privately Owned Flooring Company

Pennells Carpets is a long established family run business. It is now more than 25 years since Geoff Pennells founded the company. With 23 years experience of the trade already under his belt he decided to give it a go and opened our High Street store in Heathfield. Originally run solely by Geoff with the support of one full time fitter and with his commitment to customers the company has grown and grown.

Our second branch, situated on the retail park in Uckfield was opened in 1993 with the two original staff still working there today.

The company now employs 14 full time staff – including Geoff’s daughter and two sons - up to 25 fitters on a day to day basis and our commitment to customers continues with the same effort and professionalism as the first day Geoff opened for trading.
